Scientific Research
Continuous scientific and professional development in the area of social sciences and humanities (related to the Faculty programmes: Law, Business Psychology, Psychotherapy, Security and Crime Science, English Language) is essential for any higher education institution. Therefore, the Faculty was accredited as a scientific research institution on 10 March 2015. Afterwards, the Scientific Research Programme and the Programme for the Development of Young Researchers and Scientists have been introduced, stipulating the research strategies and goals in line with the strategic orientation of the Faculty, as well as with the national strategy.
Our scientific research activities include fundamental, applied, developmental, and scientific research in accordance with the accreditation of scientific research activities (Decision of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, No. 660-01-00043/4, 10 March 2015). Professors and teaching assistants can carry out scientific research through participation in national and international scientific and developmental projects; publication of monographs, textbooks, and papers in international and national journals, as well as conference proceedings; presentations at scientific and professional conferences.
The results of scientific research are implemented in the teaching process. Professors and teaching assistants are advised to include the results of scientific research into their lectures, and to present the basic principles of scientific research to the students. The professors are promoted primarily on the basis of research achievements. The results of scientific research are analyzed and presented to the public through presentations at scientific conferences and papers published in journals and other publications.
