Bachelor (Undergraduate) Studies
The programme lasts for eight semesters. All subjects are single-semester. The first- and second-year courses introduce students to the fundamentals of law, security and crime science, as well as other disciplines. There is at least one elective subject per semester. In the third and fourth year, students are expected to reach an advanced level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of security and crime science.
In the eighth semester, students are required to submit the final thesis paper and present it before the department committee before obtaining their degree. Students are expected to present the ability to analyse, synthesize and use the acquired knowledge in addressing a particular study-oriented problem.
The specific feature of the programme is that students are gradually introduced to their future career during the course of the study, by way of practical work in different organizations.
